Integrate Reddit Ads with WooCommerce
Connect Reddit Ads with your WooCommerce store to manage your product catalog, share conversions, and run campaigns directly from WordPress. Once linked, the plugin:
- Automatically syncs your WooCommerce products to Reddit Ads.
- Generates a catalog sales campaign based on your products.
- Shares conversion events through the Reddit Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI).
You can manage this connection in Marketing > Reddit from your WordPress admin panel.
Before you start
- Create a Reddit Ads account. Set up your business on Reddit Ads or join your team's account as a catalog manager.
- Create your WordPress site. Ensure you have admin access to your site, then install the WooCommerce and Reddit for WooCommerce plugins.
- Prepare your products for syncing. Validate your products meet our catalog requirements. If you’ve previously created a Reddit Ads catalog, remove the Reddit Pixel from your existing catalog.
Only one catalog can be attached to your Pixel at a time.
Link WooCommerce to your Reddit Ads account
- In your WordPress site’s admin panel, go to Marketing > Reddit.
- Connect your WordPress and Reddit Ads account.
Don’t have a Reddit Ads account yet? Here’s how to get started.
- When prompted, select Allow.
- Choose the business you’d like to link and select Connect.
- Confirm your ad account and Pixel ID details, then select Continue.
- Choose a budget for your campaign. You can change this at any time in the Ads Manager.
- Set up a payment in Reddit Ads. This is required to run ads.
- When ready, select Complete setup to sync your products and generate your campaign.
Manage your campaign
After you’ve finished setup, a catalog sales campaign named {{Your domain}}_woocommerce_{{Time created}}_campaign will be created for your catalog. This campaign contains two ad groups:
- Prospecting: All users interested in your products.
- Retargeting: Users who have viewed or added to their cart but haven’t purchased.
The product selection and dynamic targeting for these automatically created groups can’t be changed.
It also contains one carousel ad under your ad account’s profile. You can create more ad groups and dynamic product ads to capture users' attention and drive sales of your products and services. Learn how to monitor your campaigns and preview your ads.
Sync your product catalog
Avoid deleting this catalog to prevent syncing issues.
Once per day, your products will automatically sync with your catalog in the Ads Manager. You can manually trigger this process by selecting Regenerate CSV. Learn how to update this schedule.
Syncing may take a few minutes.
We strongly recommend checking your catalog periodically to limit ad delivery issues.
Share conversion events
By default, the plugin shares events through the Reddit Pixel and CAPI. We strongly recommend keeping Conversions API tracking on for improve accuracy, optimization, and targeting.
Unlink your account
If any issues arise with your setup or you’d like to switch businesses, select Disconnect Reddit account to restart the setup process.
Disconnecting won’t delete your catalog or campaigns in the Ads Manager. We recommend renaming and archiving your campaign and removing the Pixel from your catalog.
