Manage a Campaign
You can quickly change campaigns, ad groups, and ads from the dashboard. Some changes, like pausing or deleting a level of your campaign, will apply to everything under it. For example, pausing a campaign will also pause its ad groups and ads.
Here are several ways you can edit your campaign:
- Edit multiple entities: Select the campaigns, ad groups, or ads to edit simultaneously in Advanced Create.
Certain engagement metrics such as votes, comments, and awards exist on the post level. Editing an ad's post creative will reset these metrics. We strongly recommend creating new ads for new creatives and pausing ads you're no longer interested in using.
- Rename an entity: Hover over an entity and select Edit to rename it.
- Clone an entity: Duplicate an entity and everything beneath it. We recommend this if you want to make changes and keep the old version.
- Run or pause an entity: Use the off/on toggle to run or stop an entity and everything beneath it.
- View more actions: Perform other actions, like archiving, deleting, or advanced editing.
- Review your campaign: See an overview of all entities in your campaign. You can also quickly go to the entity's setup page by selecting it in the navigation sidebar.
- Test and preview: See your ad in the live environment and test conversion tracking.
- View history: View the complete log of changes made to an entity of your campaign from its creation to now. We recommend checking this when you're experiencing sudden performance drops.
- Archive an entity: Pause and hide an entity and all child entities beneath it. It's a great way to keep your dashboard organized without permanently deleting important information.
View the history
The history interface lets you track, filter, and review all modifications made to your entity from its creation to now. You can use this interface to:
- View changes: Get detailed information on the updates made to an entity.
- Filter entries: Apply filters to refine the table based on specific criteria.
- Set a date range: Narrow results to changes within a selected period.
- Export results: Download and save a file of your filtered table for offline access.
