Manage Members in Your Business

You'll need to be an administrator to set user roles. If you don't have access, contact one of your business's administrators.

Received an invite and looking to join a business? Here's how to do that.

Collaborate with your team members by inviting them to your business as a member. Your members can be managed in Business > Users, which you can find in the Ads Manager navigation menu.

Open Users in the menu

Members must have a Reddit account before they can use Reddit Ads. If they don't have an account yet, here's a great place for them to get started.

Invite members

If the members you're adding will have different business or ad account roles, split members by role so that you can grant them the right permissions.

  1. Select Invite new members.
  2. Provide the email addresses for all the members you'd like to invite. Each address should be separated with a space.

Make sure there are no extra characters or spaces before or after the email address.

  3. Choose the business role for the member you're inviting. This will apply to all the members that you're inviting.
  4. Select Next to continue. Add emails and select their roles before clicking Next
  5. Choose the ad accounts to add your members to and their role.
  6. Confirm you'd like to send those users an invite. Once they've accepted, they'll be listed as a member. You can manage your pending members in Invitations.

Manage pending members

You can manage members who haven't joined your business yet in Invitations. Here's what you can do:

Manage users

  • Remove from business: Sent an invite to the wrong email or do they no longer need access to your business? Quickly rescind the invite by selecting Remove this member or opening Edit. If you'd like to remind them to join, you can choose resend invite instead.
  • Give access to another ad account: Search for an ad account or use Add to give this member access to more ad accounts.
  • Edit role: Change this member's ad account role.

Change a member's role

There are several ways to change a member's role:

Edit user

  • Change business role: Change your member's business and advanced roles using Edit >  Member details & business role or use Edit > Remove business access to revoke their access.

Revoking business access will cause this member to lose access to all assets and permissions in your business.

  • Give access to another ad account: Search for an ad account or use Add to give this member access to more ad accounts.
  • Change ad account role: Change your member's ad account access using the drop-down. You can also use this to revoke their access to this account.

User roles

User roles assign members with various permission levels to your business and ad accounts. These roles are split into two categories.

Business role

Determines the member's level of access and control within your business account. It defines their ability to manage assets, members, and settings.
