Partnering with Other Businesses

Share profiles and credit lines between businesses on the Partners page. We strongly recommend this when:

  • Managing multiple businesses: Centralize billing and manage campaigns seamlessly.
  • Partnering with a brand: Share profiles to let other businesses run ads on your behalf.

You can manage what you've shared in Business > Partners. In this interface, you can:

Partner options

  • Manage partnership
    • Start a partnership: Create or join a partnership to share assets with another business.
    • Disband a partnership: End your partnership with a business.

Disbanding a partnership will revoke access to all shared assets and turn off ads that use a shared profile. However, this won't affect campaign data in the ad account where it was created.

  • Manage shared assets: See shared assets and revoke access to assets.

Create a partnership

Ensure you have your partner's business ID before starting.

  1. In the partners interface, select Add Partner. Add partner
  2. Provide your partner's business ID.
  3. A preview of their business will appear. If the correct one appears, select Next.

Verify your partner's identity before sending an invite.

    Check partner
  4. (Optional) Choose the profiles to share. This will let your partner create ads under that username. You can select Skip for Now if none should be shared.
  5. Your partner will receive an invite. After they accept, grant your ad account permission to access shared profiles and credit lines. This will let you create ads under that profile and fund campaigns with that line.

Join a partnership

  1. In the partners interface, go to Invitations. See invites
  2. Find the business you've been invited to. Choose Accept to join the partnership.

Verify your partner's identity before accepting a partnership.

    Accept invites
  3. (Optional) Choose the profiles and credit lines to share.

Sharing lets your partner advertise as shared profiles or bill your shared credit lines. Ensure you're sharing the right assets with the correct partners.

  4. Grant your ad account permission to access shared profiles and credit lines. This will let you create ads under that profile and directly charge your partner.

Manage assets

After creating or joining a partnership, you can share assets. This lets your partner use those assets for advertising. There are two types of assets you can share:

  • Profile: The username shown beneath your ad. Sharing a profile lets your partner advertise as that profile.
  • Credit line: The credit limit for your ad accounts. Sharing a credit line lets your partner bill that credit line. Here's how to request a credit line.

You can manage shared assets in several ways:

Partner sharing menu

  • Sort by ownership: View the assets you or your partner shared.
  • Select an asset type: See shared profiles or credit lines.
  • Find an asset: Search for a specific asset by name or ID.
  • Share a profile: Add another profile to this partnership.

Credit lines can't be shared in this interface. Here's how to share a credit line.

  • Revoke access: Remove this asset from the partnership. This will prevent your partner from using or charging it. We recommend regularly auditing shared assets and revoking access when no longer needed.

Revoking access won't affect campaign data in the ad account in which it was created.

Share a credit line

  1. In Business Manager, go to Assets > Credit Lines.
  2. Choose the credit line to share and open the Partners tab.
  3. Select Add and choose the partner who should receive access.
  4. Allocate the maximum amount of credit your partner can spend. You can set a hard limit or a percentage. We strongly recommend setting a hard limit to prevent unexpected charges.

Example: If your credit line is $10,000, allocating 50% grants your partner up to $5,000.

  5. Select Add to grant access.
