Promote Your Post

Increase your post's visibility and engagement with promoted posts. Promoted posts are created using Simple Create, our simplest ad campaign creation tool. When you promote a post with Reddit Ads, you use its title, body, and media to create your ad.

Before you start​

Set up your Reddit Ads account. Don't have one? Here's a great place to start.

Promote a post​

  1. Go to your profile and select Posts. Open posts
  2. Find the post you want to promote and select Promote.
  3. Finish promoting your post using Simple Create.

View and manage your promoted post​

After your post has been promoted, you can monitor its performance and adjust the settings on the dashboard.

Things to know​

  • Only verified, non-NSFW profiles can promote posts.
  • Poll posts aren't supported.
  • Posts will be reviewed using our Reddit Ads Policy before being promoted.
  • Promoted posts use the traffic campaign objective. This means they're optimized for clicks and you pay for cost-per-click (CPC).
  • Promoted posts can't use targeting and must use daily budgets. For targeting and budget customization, create an ad using Advanced Create.
  • Promoted posts use feed and conversation placements.
