About Campaigns
Within a campaign, you choose your audience, when you want to reach them, set your spend, and create your ads. Once you've built ads and they go live, you can measure your results in the Ads Manager.
Create a campaign
Set up a new campaign with one of these methods:
- Max campaigns (beta): Streamline setup and management with AI-powered bidding, targeting, and creative optimization.
- Advanced Create: Choose objectives, targeting, delivery, and creatives for your ads.
- Simple Create: Quickly run ads on Reddit with streamlined targeting and creative setup.
- Bulk Import: Upload a CSV file to easily create and edit multiple campaigns, ad groups, and ads at the same time.
- Ads API: Programmatically set up ads on Reddit.
Once created, you can manage your campaign and test ads at any time.
Special ad category
A special ad category is a campaign that focuses on housing, employment, or credit:
- Housing: Selling rental real estate listings, homeowners insurance, mortgage loans, or other services related to finding housing.
- Employment: Job opportunities or services for job seekers.
- Credit: Credit card offers, loans, financing, or any other services related to debt or credit.
As per Reddit's targeting guidelines, these campaigns can't target gender or postal codes. You must adhere to Reddit's ad policy by confirming that your campaign is a special ad category when running this type of campaign.
To declare a campaign as a special ad category, edit or create a campaign in Advanced Create and select This is a housing, employment, or credit campaign.
Existing campaigns cannot be edited to add this designation.
