Conversion Access Token

A conversion access token is a non-expiring secure key that lets you send conversion event data from your server to Reddit's Conversions API. This easily generated, shareable, long-lived access token can be used by any administrator for any ad account within your business. We recommend using a conversion access token over a developer access token for Conversions API. You can generate up to five tokens and delete them to revoke access.

Before you begin, make sure you have a Reddit Ads account. Set up your business on Reddit Ads or join your team's ad account as an administrator. Don't have an account? Here's a great place to start.

Generate a conversion access token

1. Go to the Reddit Events Manager and select Conversions API in the navigation sidebar.
2. Select Generate Access Token.
3. Provide a descriptive name for your token.
4. Select Generate to create a token.
5. Copy the token to your clipboard.
   Remember to paste your conversion token to a secure location. You won't be able to retrieve it after closing this pop-up.

Delete a conversion access token

Deleting a conversion access token will remove access for everyone using that token.

1. In the Reddit Events Manager, select Conversions API in the navigation sidebar.
2. Select Delete by the token you'd like to remove.
3. A confirmation message will appear. To delete your token, select Delete Access Token.
