Weapons and Related Products

Principle: Products advertised on Reddit, regardless of their legality, should not pose risk of or promote real, implied, or potential violence or bodily harm.

Policy: Reddit prohibits advertisements for weapons and related products.

Examples of hazardous products or services include, but are not limited to:

  • Explosive materials, fireworks, or explosives of any kind
  • Weapons and guns including accessories, ammunition, and safety parts 
  • Knives, bow and arrows, crossbows, brass knuckles, swords, spears
  • Gun ranges, gun shops, and gun shows
  • Firearm trainings, classes, certifications, licensing, or any other education or safety products or services
  • Instructions on how to make weapons, guns, explosives, or any other related similar educational material
  • Imitation firearms, antique weapons, toys, and weapons that look real or are otherwise prohibited by the law
