A video ad contains a headline and video. Depending on the placement and platform, there is a different interaction when clicking the video:

• Feed on desktop and mobile: The video autoplays.
  Redditors can opt out of this feature.

• Conversation and feed on desktop and mobile web: The video plays on click.
• Compact view on desktop and mobile web: Redditor is taken to the landing page.
• All placements for app: Redditor is taken to a page where the video plays alongside the landing page.

You can choose to enable comments for this ad type.

Video

In most cases, any aspect ratio can be used, but it may cause formatting issues, like black bars appearing. Follow our recommendations to limit issues.
