In most cases, any aspect ratio can be used, but it may cause formatting issues, like black bars appearing. Follow our recommendations to limit issues.

Cross-device
For best results, use a single image for multiple devices, placements, and view modes. Alternatively, you can change the thumbnail to set a different image for conversation placement and compact view. All ratios are accepted, but we recommend using the following:

- Use the highest resolution that meets the ratio requirements for best quality.

- Text may be truncated due to factors like browser, device, and font display size. We recommend limiting headlines to 100 characters, or 80 characters if truncation is a concern.
