Why are we collecting your VAT ID?
When advertising on our platform, you may be required to pay sales, value-added, or similar taxes. Reddit needs your tax registration ID on record to collect these taxes when they're required to be collected under local law.
What if I don't have a VAT ID?
If you aren't a registered business or not in a VAT country, you don't need to provide a VAT ID.
Add your tax ID to your account
If you're a monthly invoice advertiser working with our managed sales team, contact your account manager to add your tax ID information.
If you have a credit card on file with us and didn't enter your tax ID info when you signed up, go to Billing and add your tax ID information.
